As PR eLevated inches near, students from around the region are choosing their top-choice site visits. One of the visit options to choose from is Edelman - the world's largest communications firm by revenue.
Of course, Edelman's client roster is varied, but one key sector it caters to is technology. Hear more about the firm's tech practice below.
Artificial Intelligence in Action
Edelman opened an office in Silicon Valley in 1992 and began to serve technology clients in California in 1994. Imagine having the foresight to start a firm in the future technology hub of the United States and some may say the world.
In an ever-changing technology space, Edelman continues to keep a positive image and create a positive future, especially with the wave of Artificial Intelligence. Chat.ai and other platforms have become disrupters to all industries including public relations. The aim is to focus on the positive shift AI will create and the accessibility we can accomplish with new technology.
Did You Know?
The previous paragraphs were written using an AI writing tool that generates copy, checks spelling and even AP-style... As communicators, this can be an incredible tool to create more engaging copy and continue to communicate globally.
Now, I will say, it is not perfect. Human intervention and creativity is still needed to create the ideas we can all relate to. AI can not take over the human relations of public relations. But using these tools opens up a world of possibility and saves time to create new material.
Today we have under 10 seconds to engage someone online. In a world where watching videos to engage is primary, powerful written material is paramount. If we can create engaging and precise copy in a fraction of the time we can find even more space to create.
Edelman's Presence in the Tech Industry
In this world of technology, public relations plays a critical role in shaping public perception and driving innovation. One of the most prominent players in the tech PR industry is Edelman, a global communications firm with a reputation for excellence and strategic thinking.
Edelman's presence in tech PR has had a significant impact on the industry, particularly as it relates to the ever-changing field of artificial intelligence (AI).
The firm's expertise, commitment to ethical AI and focus on the latest developments and trends have made it a valuable resource for companies and organizations looking to communicate their AI-related innovations. As these technologies continue to evolve and become more prevalent in society, Edelman's leadership in this area will be more important than ever.
One of the things that sets Edelman apart is its track record of working with some of the most successful companies in the tech industry. From Netflix to PayPal to eBay, Edelman has helped transform tech enterprises through creative storytelling and strategic communications campaigns. The firm has successfully transitioned singular ideas into well-regarded companies and companies into entire ecosystems, showing a level of expertise that is unparalleled in the industry.
Want to Learn More?
For those who want to learn more about Edelman's work in the technology space and beyond, there is an upcoming opportunity to do just that. Columbia and DePaul’s PRSSA chapters are hosting PR eLevated, set to take place on March 2-3. Edelman will be one of the many agencies participating in the conference programming.
PR eLevated will provide attendees with valuable insights into the world of public relations and the role that individual sectors play in shaping it. Edelman's presence at this conference is particularly exciting for me as they are widely recognized as one of the leading communications firms in the technology industry.
